DCPS CEO Program teaches students with disabilities tenacity, poise and initiative to position them for paid internships in their fields of interest.
DC Public Schools Program Competitive Employment Opportunities (CEO) Program is a mentorship/internship program for high school students with disabilities. Every student in the CEO Program is paired with a mentor who works in a career field of interest to that student. Every student who successfully completes the professional development and mentoring series is then eligible for an 80-hour summertime internship at their mentor’s place of employment. Students are paid for hours spent in professional developments, mentoring sessions, and their 80-hour summertime internships.
